TOPSIS based earth station marking method

Earth stations í ES) play a vitally important role in satellite communication systems í SCS), and the evaluation of earth stations is in deadly need with the rapid development of SCS application market, but only a few researches have been done on it. In this paper, an earth station marking scheme based on TOPSIS. which is one of the most popular MCDM method, is proposed. By this scheme, the marking result is rational, comprehensive, interpretable and comparable. To lake both people's preferences on criteria and objectivity of the result into account, pairwise comparison matrix method is used to calculate weights of criteria. Instead of constructing ideal solution from extreme criteria values of alternatives, fixed positive and negative ideal solutions (FPIS and FNIS) are proposed to avoid rank reversal and keep the result consistent.
