An incentive mechanism for the negotiation of green supply chain

This research focuses on the negotiation of the green supply chain network (GSCN).Both commerce attributes and environmental attributes are taken into account. An incentive mechanism is proposed for the negotiation of agents in GSCN to urge agents into improving their strategies initiatively in order to reduce the harm to the environment during production and consumption processes. It was verified that the proposed model was feasible to solve the complex negotiation problems, and had a good performance. It can effectively increase the green factors of agents in the GSCN when the agents have low initial green factors. Moreover, it was verified that the proposed model can effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The proposed model can be seen as a "win-win" solution from both the perspective of business and environmental protection. It can maximize the total profit of the GSCN, and reduce the harm to the environment.
