Color stability enhancement of white organic light-emitting diodes

Hybrid white organic light-emitting diodes (WOLEDs) were prepared and their characteristics were discussed. The blue fluorescent emitter and yellow phosphorescent emitter are fabricated at the seperate layer. Color stability of the WOLEDs were modulated by a charge control layer (CCL) between the two emitting layers. The WOLEDs were optimized and driven at various current densities, its CIE coordinates located at (0.33, 0.51) and varied within (±0.01, ±0.01). Experimental results show that WOLEDs with high color stability have been obtained and are feasible for lighting applications.
