An effective EMI-suppression technique for modern wideband common-mode filters

The paper proposes an effective technique to suppress the electromagnetic interference (EMI) radiated from a wideband common-mode filter for modern high-speed digital circuits. This technique is fulfilled by employing the strip-line technology and adding back-cavity structures. By applying this technique, the total power radiated from the demonstrated filter could be reduced more than 40 dB at its common-mode stopband. The procedure for applying the technique is provided step by step. Each forward step makes closer to the goal of total EMI suppression.
