A Fine Model of Power Degradation for Crystalline Silicon Solar Modules

In this paper, a detailed model of power degradation was established by tracking the Photovoltaic (PV) power plant installed in Jinchang, China. And using this model predicts that the mean lifetime of PV modules in this plant could be up to 30 years. In addition, we found that the power distribution of solar modules in this plant follows a Gaussian distribution. Finally, the accelerated stress tests were used to assess reliability of the PV modules and verify the accuracy of model that we established.
