Analysis of transient stability using UPFC for symmetrical faults

A Power System is basically a huge network that needs an excellent design for the continuous flow of power. When a fault occurs at the power system, a series of problems arise due to occurrence of transients. In order to minimize this transients, devices like FACTS are used. This paper gives the stability analysis of power system without and with using UPFC with the help of PID and POD controller.
