Optimization of frequency dependence of group time delay at the transmitting paths of the radar by the application of equalizers

This the problem of optimization of the group time delay (GTD) by the criterion of its frequency dependences at the transmitting paths of the radar using signals with bandwidth up to 2 GHz was solved. An irregularity of the GTD of band-pass filters circuits is compensated. The GTD equalizers are designed on the base of segments of coupled strip lines by using of circuits with frequency-dependent resistance added to diagonal shoulders of the lines. An example of GTD optimization of the band-pass filters included in the equipment of the radar was presented.
