Optimization Method of Receiving Scheme for HF High Data Rate Transmission Systems

Joint designing of diversity combining and channel equalization at the receiver improved the performance of HF-HDRT system greatly.The performance of the iteration combining-equalization (ICE) algorithms and its frequency domain implementation are excellent. However the different algorithm has the different performance and complexity. So the optimized algorithm is exist to the specific service. In order to solve this problem, a optimization method is proposed for receiving scheme through following the extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) charts. The optimization parameters for a selected ICE algorithm is given firstly, and then the optimization ICE algorithm with the minimum complexity is gotten. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed optimization method.
