An Integrated Digital Ripple Restrained System for DC Charging Infrastructure Testing

This paper presents the theory, implementation and experimental results of a highly integrated system developed for DC charging infrastructure testing. A system block diagram is given to introduce the function of each module. The prototype and transfer functions of various types of digital filters are designed to restrain the output voltage ripple. Their functional behaviors are implemented in a FPGA using a recursion algorithm. The experimental data indicate that the voltage ripple can be minimized by using the proposed method. The research methodology of this integrated system is significant for the optimization of a DC charger testing, and provides a feasible implementation for a precise DC charging infrastructure testing system.
