UWB sixport aanalysis and design in mm-wave for 5G applications

Every generation of mobile communication has been associated with higher data rates compared with the previous generation. And so 5G should support data rates exceeding 10Gbps in most of its applications. In this paper the design process of a complete UWB six-port in mm-wave; 55-65 GHz which is in 5G Spectrum Bands Worldwide, is presented and an analytical study of UWB six-port network to analysis and qualify this UWB six-port network design requirements in some specific applications with QPSK and 16QAM are discussed. To implement the full six-port in 55-65 GHz in two layer Microstrip technology the final 3-dB coupler and the out-of-phase power divider to form an integrated six-port are designed and optimized in 55-65GHz. Then the final full six-port is designed and optimized. All S-parameters' results are extracted and all amplitude and phase variations of the full six-port are good enough to use in 5G and also Collision Avoidance Radar(CAR) applications. Demodulation constellation results of the designed UWB full six-port for 16QAM and QPSK signals over the frequency range of 55-65 GHz; can verify the S-parameters' results of the proposed six-port.
