Optimization and improvement of APIT algorithm in wireless sensor network

For the node location of wireless sensor network (WSN), the APIT algorithm depends on a range-free and area-related positioning strategy to be widely used. Against the target location deviation of the APIT algorithm, this paper mainly implements relevant optimization and improvement. Firstly, the frequency difference is utilized to determine the distance between two WSN nodes, and the environment effect for ranging is lessened; the triangle area is adopted to judge the relationship between the destination node and the triangle, and the misjudgment is reduced; the case with less beacon nodes is discussed to estimate the target node coordinate, and the localization category is enlarged; the triangle barycenter detection is used to estimate the destination node coordinate, and the algorithm efficiency is increased. As a result, an improved APIT algorithm is systematically developed. Finally, a MATLAB simulation experiment is conducted, and its results show that the new algorithm improves both the accuracy ratio and coverage rate of the target node positioning.
