The self-calibrating dual-mode Si detector — improved design based on Comsol multiphysics simulations

Our dual-mode optical power detector combines the principles of electrical substitution with measuring photocurrent. We present a new detector design, which shows a considerable reduction in non-equivalence between optical and electrical heating during electrical substitution.
