No-load magnetic field distribution in axial flux permanent magnet machine with static eccentricity

This paper presents an Equivalent Remanence Method (ERM) to obtain the analytical expression of the magnetic field distribution in the airgap of single-stator single-rotor (SSSR) axial flux permanent-magnet (AFPM) machine with static eccentricity (SE) under no load condition. In addition, by applying ERM, the magnetic field distribution in other types of AFPM machines with SE is investigated. And the slot effect in AFPM machines with SE is studied by ERM. The accuracy of the analytical method is verified by FEM.
