Design of switch matrix used in V-band

In this paper, a switch matrix used in V-Band was proposed, which is composed of Single-Pole Double-Throw (SPDT) chip switch, power divider and matching load. One to sixty-four channels switch matrix network is designed with the type of waveguide to enhance the test flexibility of microwave system. The SPDT is controled by PC through USB port, the accomplished switch matrix with a new smaller structure has more channels than the classic switch matrix. The measured results show a return loss of -25 dB, isolation of greater than 25dB.
