An accurate prediction of the correction point of trajectory correction projectile based on time window technique

An improved control algorithm rapidly predicting the correction point of trajectory correction projectiles is presented in this paper. Known on-line GPS data, the algorithm is completed by two steps to accurately compute the activated moment of correction mechanism, namely a damper. Firstly, polynomial fitting method is utilized to determine the relation between correction distance and the activated moment; To evaluate the polynomial coefficients, method of piecewise calculating ballistic trajectory is adopted. Then, Bisection Method is used to get a rough estimate of the activated moment. Secondly, time window technique which is able to curtail the computational burden and enhance the real-time performance is applied to revise the rough activated moment. In order to verify the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, simulation analysis is done on a certain type of individual rocket. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has good effects on online performance, real-time performance, versatility and accuracy.
