Complex signal envrionment analysis and cognition of multi-function radar

Multifunction radar has been applied broadly because of its great performance. But the multifunction radar has a wide variety of signal types. How to recognition of multifunction radar is the most puzzled aspect of the whole environment cognition. This paper presents a signal cognition algorithm based on wavelet transform used to analyze and estimate the modulation types of signals in complex electromagnetic environment. And according to target moving characteristics and electromagnetism scattering theory, a micro-Doppler moving feature model was established and revealed the features of amount, position of geometry center and sliding phenomenon. Experimental results showed the proposed method can effectively improve the performance of the radar environment cognition and make the target recognition more feasibly and practical.
