THz probe for investigation of cells trapped by a BioMEMS

We have demonstrated recently an original planar excitation of surface wave on a single wire transmission line. This propagation mode is well suited for the living cell investigation because we deal with a micrometer spatial resolution. We combine in a BioMEMS, microfluidic circuits and THz propagation around a wire taken as a microscopic antenna.
