A high efficiency flyback inverter with repetitive control technique for photovoltaic power system

Flyback inverter topology is attractive because of its simplicity, low cost and high efficiency, when compared with other topologies for the photovoltaic ac module application. This paper aims to improve the poor performance of the grid-connected current in continuous conduction mode (CCM). A proportional-integral and repetitive controller (RC) is proposed to regulate the grid current, high power factor and low total harmonic distortions current are achieved for the whole range of load condition. An active-clamp soft switch technique also used to improve the efficiency of the interleaved flyback inverter. A 250W digitally controlled interleaved flyback inverter prototype has been implemented to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
