An inexpensive constant efficiency SRM system

A prototype fractional HP SRM system was built and tested that demonstrates constant efficiency across a wide range of power output levels (varying torque and RPM). This system utilizes a new approach to co-design of the driver circuitry and motor coils to allow efficient coil energy reuse. The system employs standard construction techniques and extremely low cost components.
