Integrity Verification Scheme for Dynamic Cloud Data Based on Multi-Branching Tree

With the rapid growth of cloud storage, many users choose to store the data in cloud to reduce storage costs. However, ensuring data integrity when using unreliable service is a problem. By introducing the multi-branching tree (MBT) and bilinear pairings technology, we propose a data integrity verification scheme based on MBT. The scheme can effectively simplify the process of the dynamic update and support the multi-granular dynamic operations by designing a lightweight system model and constructing a simple verification tree. Security analysis and the experimental results show that the scheme can resist malicious attack from cloud server. Compared with the scheme based on Merkel hash tree (MHT), our scheme can effectively reduce the computing expense of entities and improve the verification efficiency greatly.
