Far field imaging of subwavelength features from the phonon response in single crystal structures

We investigate how a system of two single crystals can be used for far field imaging of subwavelength features. We make use of the phonon response to induce canalization in the crystals. By cutting the crystals into suitably designed prisms, an expanded image can be obtained and projected into the far field. We show simulations using triglycine sulfate at low temperature.
