Dynamic simulation of single phase transverse flux linear motor

is used to analyze the field distribution of the motor by using three-dimensional finite-element analysis method. The effects of electrical parameters on the traction and normal force are studied. The data obtained from these studies in the form of look-up tables is used in running the dynamic simulation of the motor. The dynamic simulation involved controlling the speed of the TFLM by using a PI controller and studying the response of the motor speed thrust force and flux linkage.
