An overview of one dimensional elliptical problem by finite element method with different domain

The finite element method has a wide range of applications in solving the complicated problems in Engineering, notably in elasticity and structural Mechanics. In this paper, an elliptic differential equation with Dirichlet's boundary condition is solved in the domain (0,2) using finite element method. In this solving, we obtain the different mesh functions for different domains. Finally, the first linear basis function which is defined at the initial point can be calculated for every n, where n is a positive integer.
