RGB image encryption by using discrete log with and Lorenz's chaotic function

Present research trend for image encryption mostly depends on chaos based image encryption. Chaotic behavior of a system is so much unpredictable due to its very sensitive initial parameters; a slight change in those parameters of a chaotic system will display drastic changes in output. There are a lot of research works for Gray level image encryption using chaotic maps present in literature. RGB color image has three different channels and due to that it shows much complexity in terms of computational time and requirement of resources at the time of chaotic encryption. In this paper we have developed an advanced RGB image encryption scheme by using discrete logarithm and Lorenz chaotic equation. Discrete logarithm is used for block shuffling after block generation in different RGB channels and Lorenz chaotic equation is used for generation of encryption keys.
