Optimization and comparison of two soft switched high voltage converter modulator topologies

This paper presents a comparative study of two classical soft switched high voltage resonant converter modulator topologies for long pulse generation in radio frequency applications. The proposed optimization method and circuit analysis can be used to simplify and speed up the design process and guide practical implementations.
