Set-up for 3-dimensional positioning of magnetometer sensors

Summary form only given, as follows.As the sensors of many magnetometers, e.g. SQUID-magnetometers, are not directly accessible, often their spatial location is known only approximately. To be able to position such sensors more accurately, a measuring system consisting of etched coils has been developed to determine the sensor location by means of magnetic measurements with a resolution better than 0.1 mm.
