Network Data Packet Capture and Protocol Analysis on Jpcap-Based

Communication information of interactive computer is sealed in data package. With the capture and analysis of network packets, it takes on a major role to network test, intrusion detection, fault diagnosis and teaching of computer network experiment. Jpcap is a Java library for capturing and sending network packets. Using Jpcap, we developed an application to capture packets from a network interface. In combination with the structure and function of soft package we discussed in detail the principle of packet capture, and introduced the method how to capture data packets from Ethernet and carry on the TCP/IP protocol analysis.
