Quantum neurodynamics: neural stochastic filtering with the Schroedinger equation

Quantum neurodynamics (QND) is both a neurocomputing architecture for spatiotemporal filtering and an explicit mathematical model for biological neural systems. As a spatiotemporal filter, QND constructs a nonparametric time-varying probability density function for the state of an observed system through the use of the Schroedinger equation of quantum mechanics in a predictor-error-corrector loop. As a biological model, QND provides an essential role for the glial matrix and details the interaction between glia and neurons in the cognitive processing of dynamic information streams.<
