I. Introduction
Presently, robots have a wide application in medical treatment, especially in Micro Invasive Surgery(MIS). However, conventional techniques of robotics can't help in the cell or molecule scale diseases like gene mutant or cell pathology which needs nanoscale sensing, targetting, delivery and repairing[1], which is called nanomedicine, This needs constructing robots of nanoscale to perform these operations with nanometer precision. Nanorobotics is a multidiscipline consists of nanotechnology, biology and robotics, it focus on the construction, assembly, control of the nanorobot and operation of molecular scale objects, and its most prospective and application is in nanomedicine. Nanomedicine-oriented nanorobot works in human body environment, so there are additional requirements in size, reliability, efficiency, security and biocompatibility, acesses capillary vessel and cells, delivers drugs quantitatively at desired position, repairs cells and gene chains[2]. As important tools for nanomcdicine and diagnosis, the construction of nanorobot is essential and promising, many groups has developed lots nanosclale components for nanorobot, however, limited by by current status of technology, nanomedicine-oriented nanorobot has not been developed yet, the paper trys to depict the limit factors, research status and the feasibility of constructing nanorobot with biological component.
