  • Research on Intelligent Hydraulic Impactor

    A kind of intelligent hydraulic impact or based on fuzzy control algorithm is put forward. The pressure peak signal from the nitrogen room is collected by the pressure sensor, through A/D conversion which is input to the computer for processing (fuzzy control algorithm) to obtain the control signal. Then, through the D/A conversion and signal amplification, respectively, the action of high-speed switch valve and cone valve is controlled to adjust the piston stroke under the characteristics of different objects, in order to achieve the purposes of controlling impact energy and impact frequency intelligently. Meanwhile, the control experimental program and the experimental prototype are designed. By impact experiments on objects of different hardness, such as bricks, concrete blocks, stones, iron, and so on, it's proved that the intelligent hydraulic impact or controlled by fuzzy control algorithm can automatically regulate the impact frequency and impact energy.     Aimed at the controlled object's character of long delay-time, this paper presents a strategy that the long delay-time object is remodeled into short delay-time object through decreasing time-delay control, after the adoption of BP neural network PID controller to control the transformed system. In this paper, the three-layer BP neural network is designed and BP neural network PID controller algorithm is analyzed.   • Research on Key Techniques of Visual Simulation of Automobile Engine Based on Virtual Reality Technology

    According to the deficiency of real-time and interaction in current visual simulation of automobile engine, a visual simulation of automobile engine was proposed based on Virtual Reality (VR). Firstly, focusing on four-stroke and reciprocating-piston automobile engine, the mathematical model of crank-connecting rod was established, and then that of valve train was obtained by the result data of ADAMS in dynamics simulation. At the same time, the visual model of hierarchical data was set up based on Creator, and local coordinate systems of linkage on motion mechanisms were defined by DOF technology. In addition, the visual simulation program was implemented with Vega Prime and Visual Studio. NET 2003. At last, the test shows that the system performs distinctively in interaction and real-time.   • Research on Magnetic Signal Extracting and Filtering of Coal Mine Wire Rope Belt Conveyer Defects

    Because of wire rope conveyer belt with high load operating and complex conditions of coal mine, it is prone to cause conveyer belt horizontal rupture. It will bring tremendous hazards for coal mine safe production. Defects of wire rope and joints displacement are monitored by weak magnetic detection system. The algorithm of integration with wavelet transform and improved LMS adaptive filtering algorithm was used to extract sample signal and eliminate noise of monitoring signal. The experiment results show that wavelet transform can effectively extract sample signal from strong noise which provides good input interference signal for LMS adaptive filtering algorithm. Improved LMS adaptive filtering algorithm can quickly filter noise of monitoring signal with small error which makes a good foundation for quantity and quality analysis of defects.     Traditional approach for product family forming is based cell manufacturing system and design/product structure oriented. In this paper, an innovative methodology for product family forming is presented to effectively cope with customized demand. The methodology is designed under product-family specific production line (PFPL) environment and the criteria for product family forming are based on manufacturing characteristics of the products.   • Research on Manufacturing Resources Optimization Deployment for Complicated Parts

    It is believed that the agility can be realized by dynamically optimization deployment of networked manufacturing resources. To solve this problem, logical manufacturing unit (LMU) and logical manufacturing process (LMP) are proposed and defined to decompose and model networked manufacturing task according to the process of complex part. When selecting manufacturing resources for these manufacturing tasks, many factors should be taken into account. However, manufacturing cost, time to market and manufacturing quality are the most important factors. In this paper, networked manufacturing resources pre-deployment is carried out to find candidate manufacturing resources based on manufacturing resources abilities, such as part family, geometric feature, material type, rough type, dimension range, machining method, precision grade and production type. Then, taking transportation time and cost besides manufacturing time, cost and quality into consideration, the objectives and restrictions of manufacturing resources optimization deployment are analyzed, and manufacturing resources optimization deployment problem is considered as a multi-objectives optimization problem.   • Research on Mechanical Condition Monitoring Technology for Portal Crane by Wireless Sensors

    It's very important to monitor the mechanical condition of portal crane for the device safety management. According to the characters of portal crane, a wireless monitoring system of the mechanical condition has been designed in the paper, including the status of metal structure, slewing bearing and speed reducer. The system has solved the temperature drift, zero point setting and other problems of metal structure testing, and GPRS DTUs are used as the core component of the sensors to transfer data to Internet.     With the development of computer system, Computer-Aided Design (CAD)and Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP) have emerged as effective means of improving productivity and efficiency, resulting in widespread research work related to CAD and CAPP integration in the hope of achieving seamless data flow among the relevant computer systems. Unfortunately, the efficiency of process planning systems still needs significant improvement due to the problems of design data loss or design data misinterpretation. Combine geometric feature of 3-D CAD system with precision feature of CAPP system by the rules of renaming the feature tree in the CAD. Then interface module of CAD/CAPP is developed to extract the feature data from the model and store in the part feature table of the PDM.   • Research on Modeling Method for Static Strength FEA of Automobile Seat Recliner Assembly

    As the most important assembly affecting passengers' safe, automobile seat must meet the requirements of the national standard GB 15083-2006 and even stricter company standards. Seat recliner, which is the major subassembly contributes to the strength of seat, should have strong strength to balance the torque transferred from the backrest. In this paper, a finite element analysis of seat recliner was carried on, and an accurate modeling method was put forward according to the results bench test. The results of FEA show that this method rightly reveals the position and tendency of plastic deformation when a high torque was exerted on to the recliner.   • Research on Numerical Simulation for Automotive Panel Forming and Spring-back Based on Dynaform

    The spring-back in automotive panel forming is one of the main problems, and the measure of controlling spring-back needs to predict the spring-back mount accurately. Taking the simulation method of the sheet stamping forming and spring-back as foundation, the simulation of stamping forming and spring-back for roof of automotive is carried out in Dynaform, and the result of simulation also is analyzed. The result shows that no crackle and wrinkle happen during the course of sheet metal forming, there are some regions sinking on the panel, other rising, and sinking tendency greater than rising. In order to control the spring-back, the inverted compensation method is adopted to optimization design die surface according the result of simulation. The rationality of spring-back controlling measure and the veracity of die surface modified are proved by the actual panel and detection result. The qualified product is obtained.     The conception of oriented-process tolerance allocation has been presented to improve the limitation of traditional tolerance research. Oriented-process tolerance allocation means that product can be gained at the minimum cost by allocating the optimization tolerance of process parameters.   • Research on Quantitative Identification of Pipe Crack Based on Vibration

    Pipe plays an important role in the petrochemical industry. Developing pipe testing technique can avoid or decrease accidents and is an important guarantee for the safety service of pipe. In this paper, a method is presented to identify crack location and size, which is based on the finite element method (FEM) and model modification. Pipe structure is dispersed into a series of nested thin-walled pipes. By making use of stress intensity factor of the thin-walled pipe, the equivalent stiffness of pipe crack may be calculated. On this basis, the finite element method is used to establish the dynamic model of cracked pipe, and the model is efficiently modified by simulation and experiment. Then a quantitative diagnostic method of crack is constructed by combining forward problem and inverse problem, which provides a non-destructive testing technology with vibration for the pipe structure.   • Research on Rapid Testing Platform for TCU of Automated Manual Transmission

    To reduce the development cycle time and cost of the transmission control unit (TCU) for automated manual transmission (AMT), a rapid testing platform (RTP) based on the concept of hardware-in-the-loop simulation is introduced and implemented in this paper. The proposed RTP features that the vehicle parts in simulation are all model-based. The torque characteristic of engine, the mechanical characteristic of DC motor, and the torque transferring characteristic of clutch are discussed. By mathematical modeling, the simulators of the vehicle motion, engine, actuators, clutch and gearbox that compose the RTP for TCU are developed. Through signal processing method, the simulators are embodied in an embedded system with functional circuits. Experiments with a product of TCU are carried out and the simulation results show that the RTP can simulate the vehicle conditions and behavior approximately well. View full abstract»
