    Cognitive radion attracted more attention as it access and use spectrum opportunity in communication. Energy detection is given more reseach as advantage of simple algorithm and without prior knowledge compared to other spectrum sensing. This paper study energy detection in keyhole channel when others do it in Rayleigh and other channels, and contrast to it's performance in AGWN.   • Study of distributed space-time code based on algebra theory in cooperative systems

    The distributed space-time code based on algebra theory in cooperative systems discussed in this paper is linear, but it doesn't satisfy the design criterion of orthogonal and quasi orthogonal space-time code. First the collaborative channel model is established and then we design the distributed space-time block codes which base in the model of two transmitting antennas and two receiving antennas. The sphere decoding method is adopted. In the final the traditional code, the cooperative code, based on algebra theory code and based on algebra theory cooperative code are simulated on performance. Simulation results show that the distributed space-time code based on algebra theory in cooperative systems can reduce the bit error rate and improve system performance. View full abstract»

  • Time-stamped multivariable generalized predictive control and fuzzy rectified control of network control systems

    The key point of the network control systems is that conventional generalized predictive control algorithm cannot deal with random delays, packet losses and vacant sampling. In this paper, the time-stamped multivariable generalized predictive control (TSMGPC) was proposed to deal with this problem. The TSMGPC used time-stamped to calculate the real delay, and the LMS algorithm to estimate the induced delay. In order to reduce the transmission times between the controller and the actuator, a threshold that was set in advance would be used to decide whether the control information were sent to the actuator or not, fuzzy rectification was also adapted to correct the system errors. The simulation results show that the TSMGPC with fuzzy rectified function can trace the desired output precisely. View full abstract»

When the order of model is 1, they obtained the least squares estimate of the parameters and proved its consistency and asymptotic normality.     In this paper, we consider the fuzzy linear regression model proposed by Kim et al. and construct empirical likelihood ratio statistics of unknown parameters.     This paper studies a quantitative analysis method for the chilled meat logistics system safety based on GO-FLOW methodology. Through a systematical analysis of chilled meat cold-chain, we build up its GO-FLOW chart and analyze its signals, operators and calculated rules. Then the application of the method with an example is demonstrated in detail. The reliability and failure probability of every network nodes are calculated using GO algorithm.   • Study on mining novelty temporal pattern

    The algorithm to find the novelty temporal pattern from the temporal database is presented. The basic idea of the algorithm is firstly to extract the feature sequence from a time series, then to compare the feature points of the time series with ones of the normal pattern to decide whether there is a novelty pattern in the time series. The temporal relation of time series is reserved in the feature sequence, therefore the novelty feature points are easier to be found.     It is necessary to monitor the status of transmitters in order to guarantee the stabilization of the broadcast TV system. In the paper, a new site-controller used for monitoring the status of broadcast TV transmitters is introduced, which designed based on Linux and ARM micro-processor. The controller can be used to replace the industrial PC and PLC in the monitoring system, which has many functions, such as acquiring the status parameters, alarming, remote control, network communication etc. The paper described the configurational framework of the broadcasting TV transmitter monitoring system, introduced the hardware and software design of the controller as well as the algorithm to find novelty temporal pattern.     Fiber-optic dispersion and its effect on optical transmission system are analyzed. The most commonly used dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) technology is studied in this article. Three schemes (pre-compensation, post-compensation, mix-compensation of dispersion compensation) of dispersion compensation with DCF are proposed. The simulation model of the WDM based on the Optisystem is presented according to the above principle. The simulation results such as Q factor and BER are given and deeply analyzed. It is found that mix- compensation performance is the best. And the input fiber power is taken as 9-10 dB, the corresponding BER performance is better. View full abstract»

  • Color appearance simulation method for multilevel loop tufted carpet produced by single needle bar machine

    To provide the designer preview of the final color appearance of tufted carpet, this paper proposed a computer aided method to simulate the color appearance of tufted carpet which is made with different color yarns. The simulation method adopts a color block to represent a single loop pile in the carpet surface, and through adjusting color block size to simulate the extrusion between loop piles. The method starts from scanning the control pattern to analyze the color information for each pixel in control pattern, and convert color into the pile height level information. Base on the current and surrounded loop piles height level to infer the size and start point of color block for current loop pile. According the cam pattern, creel pattern, and color block information to generate the color appearance simulation for the tufted carpet. Test result shows that this method can effectively generate carpet color appearance simulation for tufted carpet comprising of multicolor yarns. View full abstract»

    A new developed tufting machine adopt electronic cam to replace traditional transverse shifting mechanism. To facility the control operation of electronic cam for carpet tufting machine, this study proposed a pattern data prepare system. According to the actual control of electronic cam based needle bar transverse shifting, constructed the software frame structure, using visual basic develop the cam data preparation system. The software system realizes the functions of gathering point data, conversion of data, download and management of cam data etc. The developed data preparation system was tested in a sample carpet tufting machine. Test result shows that the system can fulfill the cam pattern design, conversion, download and file management, and the developed system greatly reduce the complex operations of electronic cam drive transverse shifting system on carpet tufting machine.   • Study on servo based yarn and backing cloth feeding control system of carpet tufting machine

    In order to facilitate the adjustment of process parameters for tufting machine, a coordinated control system of tufting carpet machines using AC servo motor to feed yarn and backing cloth has been developed. The system adopt adjusting speed of the servo motors which directly connected with the according axis to fulfill the adjustment of yarn delivery and backing cloth feeding instead of adjustment of conventional mechanical transmission chain. According to the actual requirements of control system, designed and developed the control system software and hardware. The system through the program interface to set and adjust the yarn and backing cloth feeding ratios, and send the parameters through CAN bus down to the two axes motion control board which was designed based on DSP microchip, after set the start signal, the DSP control board can adjust the servo motors' speeds coordinate with the monitored spindle's speed and fulfill the yarn and backing cloth feeding speeds in accordance with the spindle's. Through test in prototype machine, the process parameter of yarn and backing cloth feeding ratio could be changed in a short time. View full abstract»

    In this paper we study the variational inequalities with separable operators. A projection-type alternating direction method is proposed for such problems, which only need some projections onto simple sets and some function evaluations during each iteration.     In wireless cellular system, providing Quality-of-Service (QoS) control during hand-offs is highly desirable. In this paper, a method to estimate hand-off probability using statistically recorded history data of mobile phone's mobility (connection or hand-off) is proposed. By designing a special statistical database structure and casting a three-layer neural network on the history data, the cellular system reserves bandwidth for the hand-off mobile phones according to statistical background data, and then reduces the hand-off dropping probability.     To realize the integration of the information space and physical space contained man-machine cooperation, auto-adaptation system, and intelligent management of engineering quality, in the construction quality management, this paper proposes a distributed hierarchical context-aware model which is a universal service for construction quality management system. Context-aware technology plays an important role of improving human-computer intelligent interaction. It is also the core technology of pervasive computing. The model is for the current construction quality issues. It makes the service layer immediately have streamlined, efficient, high-level conflict-free context, reducing the workload of project management system and improving the scalability, customizability and code reuse of the system and the efficiency and humanization of project management.     In allusion to the defects of the slow convergence speed and the local minimum for traditional BP algorithm, a new algorithm is proposed. The new algorithm is designed by hierarchical genetic algorithm together with the algorithm of automatically adjusting the S form function, which combines with the BP network to improve the efficiency of fault detection. With calculation and simulation, compared with the traditional BP algorithm, the new algorithm has high precision of training, low training times, and small relative mean square error, which achieves better optimization results.     It is significant to control pH value rapidly and accurately for neutralization reaction process, which is characterized by critical nonlinearity and strong disturbance. In this paper, a nonlinear model is built taking the case of overflow neutralization reaction pool. And a linearization method based on inverse model is proposed. On the base of nonlinear compensator, a single closed-loop PI control scheme is applied in pH neutralization reaction process. Accepting the flow of the modulated liquid as main disturbance, the simulation results suggest that the proposed scheme has good steady state and dynamic performance. View full abstract»
