Abstract

In this paper, new headway models are established by analyzing the more complex operations happening in a long-distance corridor line of the transrapid super-speed maglev system (TSMS). The variation law in the minimum allowable trains headway is analyzed. The headway results could be used for analyzing the carrying capacity and doing operational design of super-speed maglev systems for long distance line.
