Abstract
Code construction criteria for frequency selective multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channels with single carrier modulation are derived. It is shown that the standard delay diversity code fails to exploit full diversity order in presence of delay spread. A generalised delay-diversity code which exploits full diversity is proposed
