Introduction
Within the framework of a project started in 2013 at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, we realize three-dimensional visualizations of historical buildings, monuments and important places, which do not exist in their original form or are not accessible for some reasons, in virtual reality systems. It is a fundamental aim and an essential feature of our activity, that all significant objects in the virtual space have to appear exactly in the same form as they do (in the case of non-existing objects, as they did) in reality. As a consequence, our spaces, besides the presentation of some objects, can serve as a basis for scientific investigations as well. Apparently, our developments are related to human-ICT interactions, an important topic in cognitive infocommunications (cf. [2]–[4] and [5]).
