A computationally efficient shift-register based information scrambling approach to physical layer security in MIMO-SDM systems

We show that a computationally efficient information scrambler based on a simple linear feedback shift register (LFSR) can establish perfect physical layer security in multiple-input-multiple-output space-division multiplexing (MIMO-SDM), with negligible penalty for the legitimate receiver.
