Mode and polarization division multiplexed signal detection with single coherent receiver using mode-selective coherent detection technique

We experimentally demonstrate that a single coherent receiver can successfully receive mode and polarization division multiplexed signal using MDM-to-FDM signal conversion scheme based on our proposed mode-selective coherent detection technique to develop low-complexity MDM systems.
