High performance narrow bandpass filters based on integrated Bragg gratings in silicon-on-insulator

We show that a dispersion-less filter with a narrow square-shaped passband exhibiting sidelobe suppression ratio reaching 13 dB can be fabricated in SOI using the superposition apodization technique and a phase noise reduction approach.
