A New Handoff Ordering and Reduction Scheme Based on Road Topology Information

In this paper, we present a scheme for handoff ordering and reduction by using location information and trajectory prediction of a mobile terminal as mobile devices of the future are likely to be equipped with accurate positioning and advanced data processing capabilities, we used this new feature for mobility predictions based on road topology information and change in received signal strength (DeltaRSS) of a mobile terminal.
