The Pandora Multimedia Workstation

Describes the implementation of an X Multimedia Workstation using the Pandora Multimedia Coprocessor and a commercial X-Unix Workstation. The Pandora Coprocessor provides the video, audio and highspeed networking capability for the workstation, and integrates into the X Window System. A network of such Pandora Workstations has been set up over several sites and research is being done into distributed multimedia applications.<
