New passivity-type criteria for large-scale interconnected systems

In this paper, we present several new passivity-type criteria for the L
2
-stability and L
2
-instability of large-scale interconnected systems. These results contain the standard "single-loop" passivity results as special cases, and are in some ways simpler to apply than the large-scale results found elsewhere.
