Fuzzy Rule-based Estimation of Students’ Skills

One of the key issues in engineering higher education is the choice of modern teaching-learning methods. The main goal of this study is to investigate the effects of system theory, system-engineering and project-based approach on engineering students’ skills. It is necessary to accurately and objectively define their skills, before and after their education in order to describe the growth of students’ competences. However, most people, including teachers tend to have some subjectivity that can be modelled by fuzzy set theory.
