Basic Electric and Magnetic Circuits

Since some students may not have had any electrical engineering background, the first chapter introduces the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism needed to understand electric circuits. For our purposes, we will be using very simple models in general, leaving many of the complications to more advanced textbooks.
