The Study of Crack Mechanism During Arc Brazing of Cooling Pipe to ITER Magnet Support System

It is suggested using arc brazing to attach the cooling pipe to the ITER magnet supports system due to the high bond strength as well as the good thermal conductivity. A microcrack, which is terrible for system safety, was found during the test. In this paper, the mechanism of the microcrack during arc brazing is investigated.
