Pitch alteration technique in a speech synthesis system

This paper proposes the pitch alteration method that solves the energy unbalance by the pitch interval adjustment on a speech synthesis system. The pitch alteration is applied to waveform reconstruction and PSOLA (pitch synchronous overlap and add) techniques.
