IT-supported organisational changes in a production shop floor: a case study

This paper describes aspects of the implementation of new organisational structures in industrial production environments. The case study reported uses intelligent information systems to support the workers in developing a new organisational form, where their demands for information are much higher. The paper focuses on the human aspects of changing work organisation, introducing IT in low-IT environments, etc.
