For supporting multimedia Quality of Service (QoS) over wireless network, IEEE 802.11e introduced Enhanced Distribution Channel Access (EDCA) scheme to divide each service category application in the form of access. However, this mechanism does not guarantee the QoS on the high network traffic. This research aims to apply Adaptive Admission Control (AAC) based on Adaptive Framework to resolve the issue. Its performance is evaluated under real time and non-real time traffic through simulations using OPNET Simulator. The behavior of some parameters like throughput, delay and packet loss are examined in this study. Simulation results show that AAC methode based on Adaptive Framework improve the performance of multimedia conferencing applications.
