Full implementation of WISP (Western Interconnection Synchrophasor Program) is scheduled for March 2013. New synchrophasor applications that allow better visibility of the interconnection will be deployed in WECC's Reliability Coordination Centers in Vancouver, Wash., and Loveland, Colo. This paper provides a brief insight into the new applications and their functionality.
