Objective To establish a precise management process of medical consumables. Methods Based on a standardized sharing dictionary, we link processes chain of every departments, and can connect patient's information to consumable information by sticking a single code label to a high-cost consumable. Results We insure that every high-cost medical consumables would be inspected, and would be traced or recalled in 30 minutes. Conclusion We use contemporary information technology and management process to master accurate tracks of every high-cost medical consumables.
