We are using Sonnet, a visual programming language for developing distributed real time applications, to enhance the user interface experience by allowing audio events to be associated with events that occur during the day to day operation of a computer. Designed originally for writing run time actions for monitoring and debugging running programs using sound, Sonnet is uniquely suited to be an interface “glue” language to connect different subsystems together
