This paper presents a probabilistic optimal power flow (POPF) algorithm considering different uncertainties in a smart grid. Different uncertainties such as variation of nodal load, the change in network configuration and the measuring or forecasting errors of parameters wind power generation and etc. can be considered in the proposed algorithm. Due to stochastic nature of wind speed, it has been modeled with Weibull distribution function. Probability density function of other random variables can be Normal, Uniform, any discrete. The proposed algorithm has been based on point estimation methods. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm it has been applied IEEE 14-bus test case power system. Simulation results show the effectiveness and precision of the proposed algorithm.
